HOFOGI stands for Hope For Girls. We provide a platform for counselling, mentorship and empowerment of margenalized young girls and women in Nyanza-Region who dropped out of school due to early pregnancy or contracting HIV/AIDS among other hardships.

We work in conjunction with social services institutions to identify and give support through education-sponsorship training and group mentorship.

HOFOGI MERCHANDISE

HOFOGI BEYOND KENYA

In February 2021 HOFOGI’s Founder, Claudia Veronicah started an initiative called Mama`s Food in Switzerland, her country of residence. Mama`s food is an income generating project under HOFOGI. Not only do we want to support our project but also connect people and cultures through food. Its origin is Africa, to bring the ‘afrochoscht’ to Switzerland to reach out to other mamas, and share their experience with our audience. For Swiss audience, it’s exotic. Yet, Being ‘mama’s food’, it’s so close to home and also familiar. Every Friday we have a Menu which you can order and we offer Takeaway/ Delivery Service. 20% of income of every activity under ‘Mama’s Food’ goes to Kenya for monthly training costs and the rest covers expenses.
